Position Overview:

Ledgent Finance and Accounting is partnering with a large, multi-location organization in the Atlanta area that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who thrive in a high-volume environment and enjoy being part of a collaborative accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, matching, coding, and payment processing
• Handle a high volume of invoices with a mix of manual and automated processes
• Perform intermediate-level Excel tasks, including creating and manipulating VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Compile data and support monthly reporting requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing
• Other AP and accounting support tasks as needed

Requirements

• Full-cycle AP experience required
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs emphasized; some Pivot Table use)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working fully onsite
• Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
